Arizona vs. USC Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Arizona vs. USC football game
This Saturday, the Arizona Wildcats are hoping to patch up the holes in a defense that has allowed an average of 36.29 points per game. They will take on the USC Trojans at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday at Arizona Stadium after a week off. The Wildcats are out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
Arizona came up short against the Washington Huskies two weeks ago, falling 49-39. QB Jayden de Laura put forth a good effort for the losing side as he passed for four TDs and 400 yards on 34 attempts in addition to picking up 41 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, it's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask USC, the unfortunate recipient of a 43-42 loss at the hands of the Utah Utes two weeks ago. The Trojans might have lost, but man -- QB Caleb Williams was a total machine. He passed for five TDs and 381 yards on 42 attempts in addition to picking up 57 yards on the ground. Williams' longest run was for 55 yards in the first quarter.
The Wildcats have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 15.5-point spread they are up against. Those who got lucky with them against the spread two weeks ago might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses two weeks ago. With a combined 1,082 yards of offense in their previous games, we can expect a fast-paced contest.
