The Arkansas Razorbacks will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the BYU Cougars at 7:30 p.m. ET at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Arkansas is out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
You can't lose the match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Arkansas' strategy against Kent State on Saturday. Arkansas put the hurt on Kent State with a sharp 28-6 defeat.
QB KJ Jefferson looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 136 yards and two touchdowns on 19 attempts. WR Andrew Armstrong made another meaningful contribution, racking up an impressive two receiving touchdowns.
Meanwhile, BYU extended their game-winning streak to six on Saturday. They was the clear victor by a 41-16 margin over Southern Utah. With BYU ahead 27-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
QB Kedon Slovis was on fire, as he threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns on 32 attempts. TE Isaac Rex was another key contributor, scoring a touchdown off of 112 receiving yards.
Looking ahead, Arkansas shouldn't be too worried about this matchup, as the experts have them favored by eight points. They finished last season with an even 6-6 record against the spread.
Arkansas steamrolled past BYU in their previous matchup last October by a score of 52-35. Will Arkansas repeat their success, or do BYU have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
