Game Recap
The Boise State Broncos won the last time they met up with the Colorado State Rams, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. The Broncos put the hurt on Colorado State with a sharp 52-21 victory. That looming 31-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Boise State yet this year.
No one had a standout game offensively for Boise State, but they got scores from RB Andrew Van Buren and TE Riley Smith. More help came courtesy of LB Riley Whimpey, who was good for 12 tackles.
A silver lining for Colorado State was the play of WR A'Jon Vivens, who punched in one rushing touchdown.
Boise State's win brought them up to 3-1. The loss dropped the Rams' record to 1-2.
The Broncos will square off against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at 11 p.m. ET next week at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. As for Colorado State, they will face off against the UNLV Rebels at 5:30 p.m. ET next week at Canvas Stadium.
