Live scores, highlights and updates from the Boise State vs. Wyoming football game
Game Recap
On Friday, the Wyoming Cowboys were out to avenge their 17-9 defeat to the Boise State Broncos from their previous meeting last December, but they had no such luck. Wyoming came up short against Boise State, falling 23-13. The Cowboys haven't found any success against the Broncos since Oct. 29 of 2016, this loss making it five in a row.
No one had a standout game offensively for Boise State, but they got scores from RB Andrew Van Buren and TE Riley Smith. RB George Holani and his 102 yards on the ground were another key factor in Boise State's victory.
Special teams collected 11 points for Boise State. K Jonah Dalmas delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
Despite the defeat, the Cowboys got a solid performance out of WR Isaiah Neyor, who caught six passes for one TD and 126 yards. One of the most thrilling moments was Neyor's 74-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter.
The loss dropped Wyoming back to even at 5-5. The win improved the Broncos' record to 6-4.
Wyoming is staying on the road next week to face off against the Utah State Aggies at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. Boise State will stay at home against the New Mexico Lobos at 9 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Albertsons Stadium.
