Duke vs. Northwestern Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Duke vs. Northwestern football game
The Northwestern Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Duke Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. Northwestern is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Last Saturday, Northwestern's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily it didn't stay that way. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 38-7 victory over UTEP. The high flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround for Northwestern's flat seven- point performance the game before.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Duke over Lafayette in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Duke blew Lafayette out of the water with a 42-7 final score. The over/under was set at 49 points, so nice work oddsmakers; you were right on the money.
RB Jordan Waters was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns. QB Henry Belin IV was another key contributor, throwing for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Northwestern will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 5-7 record against the spread.
Northwestern came up short against Duke in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, falling 31-23. Can Northwestern avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
