The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Kennesaw State Owls at noon ET Sept. 11 at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field. Kennesaw State should still be riding high after a win, while the Yellow Jackets will be looking to get back in the win column.

Georgia Tech had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last week as the squad lost 22-21 to the Northern Illinois Huskies. This was hardly the result Georgia Tech or its fans were betting on, as they were favored by 19 points over NIU heading into this game. Georgia Tech's defeat came about despite a quality game from QB Jordan Yates, who passed for one TD and 136 yards on 20 attempts in addition to rushing for one TD and 38 yards.

Meanwhile, Kennesaw State had a touchdown and change to spare in a 35-25 victory over the Reinhardt Eagles last Thursday.

Georgia Tech's loss took them down to 0-1 while Kennesaw State's win pulled them up to 1-0. We'll see if the Yellow Jackets can steal the Owls' luck or if Kennesaw State records another victory instead.
