QB Rocco Becht looked spectacular while leading his team to the win, throwing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 13 attempts. Becht wound up with a passer rating of 200.7. DB Jeremiah Cooper made the highlight reel thanks to an interception in the first quarter, which he returned 56 yards for a pick-six.
Meanwhile, Iowa didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Utah State on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 24-14 win.
Iowa State will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a mediocre 4-8 record against the spread, so bettors beware.
