Kansas vs. Baylor Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Kansas vs. Baylor football game
The Kansas Jayhawks are 0-6 against the Baylor Bears since October of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Kansas and Baylor will face off in a Big 12 battle at 3:30 p.m. ET at Kivisto Field at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. The Jayhawks are out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
Kansas scored first but ultimately less than the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in their matchup last Friday. Kansas ended up on the wrong side of a painful 49-22 walloping at Coastal Carolina's hands. QB Jason Bean put forth a good effort for the losing side as he accumulated 189 passing yards in addition to rushing for two TDs and 102 yards.
Meanwhile, when you finish with 424 more yards than your opponent like the Bears did last week, a favorable outcome is almost sure to follow. They really took it to the Texas Southern Tigers for a full four quarters, racking up a 66-7 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42 to nothing. Baylor's QB Gerry Bohanon was on fire, passing for three TDs and 240 yards on 21 attempts in addition to punching in two rushing touchdowns.
Baylor's win lifted them to 2-0 while Kansas' loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if the Bears can repeat their recent success or if the Jayhawks bounce back and reverse their fortune.
