UTSA already has more points against Marshall than they managed in total against Tulane back in November. UTSA has a bit of a cushion as they currently lead Marshall 28-17.
If UTSA keeps playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 9-4 in no time. On the other hand, Marshall will have to make due with a 6-7 record unless they turn things around (and fast).

The Marshall Thundering Herd and the UTSA Roadrunners will square off in the Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Coming in fresh off a win as the underdog, Marshall will stroll into this one as the favorite.
Marshall has more to be thankful for after their contest against Arkansas State back in November. Marshall took down Arkansas State 35-21. Marshall pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Arkansas State cut but never quite recovered from.
Cam Fancher was a one-man wrecking crew for Marshall as he rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Fancher was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 63 yards. Marshall also got a significant boost from Ethan Payne, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 113 yards.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, UTSA's good fortune finally ran out back in November. They took a 29-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tulane.
The win got Marshall back to even at 6-6. As for UTSA, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
