Live scores, highlights and updates from the Miami (FL) vs. Georgia Tech football game
Miami (FL) will be playing the full four quarters on Saturday, but they're expected to have things wrapped up well before that. Miami (FL) is currently enjoying a perfect season, with four straight wins to start things off.
Last Saturday, Miami (FL) humbled Temple with a 41-7 smackdown.
Miami (FL) can attribute much of their success to Henry Parrish Jr., who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 carries, and Tyler Van Dyke, who threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Those three passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Van Dyke. Xavier Restrepo was in the mix as well, providing Miami (FL) with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Georgia Tech was first on the board, but had to settle for second at the end of their matchup against Bowling Green on Saturday. Georgia Tech fell 38-27 to Bowling Green. Georgia Tech didn't live up to their potential and found themselves falling short of the advantage oddsmakers thought they had coming into the game.
The losing side was boosted by Haynes King, who threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for King.
Miami (FL)'s win bumped their season record to 4-0 while Georgia Tech's loss dropped theirs to 2-3.
As mentioned, Miami (FL) is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 21 points.
Everything went Miami (FL)'s way against Georgia Tech in their prior recent meeting last November as Miami (FL) made off with a 35-14 victory. Will Miami (FL) repeat their success, or does Georgia Tech have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
