North Carolina vs. Syracuse Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the North Carolina vs. Syracuse football game
The Syracuse Orange and the North Carolina Tar Heels will face off at noon ET Sept. 12 at Kenan Memorial Stadium to kick off their 2020 seasons. Last year was nothing to brag about for 'Cuse (5-7), so the team is looking forward to a new start. While UNC was not exactly top dog last year, they did wrap up the year with a winning record of 7-6.
A pair of last-season stats to keep an eye on: The Orange ranked 16th worst in the nation with respect to yards allowed per game last season, where the squad gave up 464.1 on average (bottom 88%). To make matters even worse for 'Cuse, UNC was 12th best in the nation (top 9%) in yards per game, finishing the 2019 season with 474 on average.
The 'Cuse sideline is surely aware that they're the underdogs in this one. Perhaps they'll be able to flip the script and come out with a big win.
