Old Dominion vs. Louisiana updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Old Dominion vs. Louisiana football game
The Old Dominion Monarchs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
Old Dominion kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 36-17 to Virginia Tech. Old Dominion found out winning isn't easy when the QB can't throw the ball and throw for 165 fewer passing yards than the opposition.
The Monarchs weren't very productive in the air and finished the game with only 94 passing yards. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Virginia Tech threw for 259.
Meanwhile, Louisiana took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-13 victory over Northwestern State. Louisiana pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit Northwestern State had littlechance of recovering from.
Old Dominion will need to dig deep on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They finished last season with a 5-7 record against the spread.
While the Monarchs is hoping for a better result this time, the Ragin' Cajuns is hoping to keep the momentum going. Check back to see if Old Dominion can bounce back or if Louisiana can keep them down.
