Live scores, highlights and updates from the Oregon vs. UCLA football game
Game Recap
The Oregon Ducks won the last time they met up with the UCLA Bruins, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Oregon skirted past UCLA 38-35. The overall outcome was to be expected, but the Bruins made it more of a game than the oddsmakers had predicted.
Oregon QB Tyler Shough was slinging it as he passed for three TDs and 334 yards on 30 attempts in addition to picking up 31 yards on the ground. Oregon's S Jordan Happle got in on the action, too, converting a pick in the second quarter into a touchdown.
Oregon's defense was a presence as well, as it collected two interceptions and two fumbles. The picks came courtesy of S Verone McKinley III and Happle.
A silver lining for UCLA was the play of WR Demetric Felton, who rushed for two TDs and 167 yards on 34 carries.
The victory for Oregon kept them a perfect 3-0. The Bruins' overall record fell to 1-2.
The Ducks will square off against the Oregon State Beavers at 7 p.m. ET next Friday at Reser Stadium. Like Oregon, Oregon State is also coming into the matchup bolstered by a recent win. UCLA will be playing at home against the Arizona Wildcats at 3 p.m. ET next Saturday. Like UCLA, Arizona is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 34-30 to the USC Trojans.
