Purdue vs. Wisconsin updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Friday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Purdue vs. Wisconsin football game
The Wisconsin Badgers will head out on the road to face off against the Purdue Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday at Ross-Ade Stadium. Wisconsin will be strutting in after a victory while Purdue will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Last Saturday, Wisconsin's game was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily it didn't stay that way. They blew past Georgia Southern 35-14.
RB Braelon Allen and QB Tanner Mordecai were among the main playmakers for Wisconsin as the former rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns and the latter rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Mordecai set a new season high mark in passing yards with 236. On the other side of the line, S Hunter Wohler was a menace on defense and made a total of six tackles.
Meanwhile, Purdue lost to Syracuse at home by a decisive 35-20 margin on Saturday.
Nobody from Purdue had a standout game, but they still got scores from WR Tyrone Tracy, WR Deion Burks, and QB Hudson Card. Securing the other side of the line was LB OC Brothers, who stumped the offense to the tune of five tackles.
Looking ahead, Wisconsin is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by six points.
Wisconsin beat Purdue 35-24 in their previous matchup last October. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wisconsin since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
