San Jose State vs. Air Force Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game

Game Recap

After soaring to 40 points the game before, the Air Force Falcons faltered in their game on Saturday. They took a 17-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Jose State Spartans. Air Force didn't live up to their potential and found themselves falling short of the 7.5-point advantage oddsmakers thought they had coming into the game.

No one had a standout game offensively for SJSU, but they got two touchdowns from TE Derrick Deese Jr.. The Spartans also got help from WR Bailey Gaither, who showed off his sure hands for 110 receiving yards in the win.

Nobody on Air Force really separated themselves from the pack offensively, but QB Haaziq Daniels led the way with one touchdown.

The loss dropped Air Force's record to 1-0. The win got SJSU back to even at 0-0.

The Falcons will look to defend their home turf next Saturday against the Boise State Broncos at 2 p.m. ET. As for the Spartans, they will face off against the New Mexico Lobos at 2 p.m. ET next Saturday at Dreamstyle Stadium.
