UNLV vs. Hawaii updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UNLV vs. Hawaii football game
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the UNLV Rebels at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium. Hawaii is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Last Sunday, Hawaii sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 20-17 victory over New Mexico State. The overall outcome was to be expected, but Hawaii made it more of a game than the oddsmakers had predicted.
Nobody from Hawaii had a standout game, but they still got scores from Brayden Schager and Koali Nishigaya.
Meanwhile, UNLV strolled past UTEP with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 45-28.
Jai'Den Thomas had a dynamite game for UNLV, rushing for 100 yards and four touchdowns. Vincent Davis Jr. and his 97 yards on the ground were another key factor in UNLV's victory.
Their wins bumped Hawaii to 2-3 and UNLV to 3-1.
Hawaii is hoping to beat the odds on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss.
Hawaii didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against UNLV in their previous matchup last November, but they still walked away with a 31-25 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was, UNLV's Doug Brumfield, who threw for 288 yards and a touchdown. Now that he won't be playing on Saturday, will Hawaii be able to walk away with two wins in a row? Check CBSSports.com after the match to find out.
