Wisconsin vs. Indiana: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wisconsin vs. Indiana football game
Game Recap
The Wisconsin Badgers were the 45-17 winners over the Indiana Hoosiers when they previously met in November of 2017. On Saturday? They had no such luck. Wisconsin came up short against IU, falling 14-6. This was hardly the result the Badgers or its fans were betting on, as they were favored by 13.5 points over IU heading into this contest.
No one had a standout game offensively for IU, but they got scores from WR Whop Philyor and TE Peyton Hendershot. On the other hand, RB Stevie Scott III had a very so-so game, which wouldn't be worth mentioning except that he carried the ball significantly more than any other IU running back.
The loss dropped Wisconsin back to even at 2-2. The Hoosiers' win brought them up to 6-1.
The Badgers will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes at 1 p.m. ET next Saturday at Kinnick Stadium. Iowa's offense will need to be on point to get points against Wisconsin's defense, which is averaging only 17.29 points allowed per game. IU will be playing at home against the Purdue Boilermakers at noon ET next Saturday. If the matchup is anything like IU's 44-41 victory from their previous meeting in November of last year, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
