Cabbage went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Cardinals.
The 27-year-old was recalled to the majors Tuesday to provide depth while Kyle Tucker (leg) is sidelined. Cabbage drew the start in right field and hit seventh, and he tallied his first home run of the season in the fifth inning. Cabbage isn't likely to earn consistent starts even with Tucker unavailable.
