Palacios is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.
Despite Pittsburgh sending right-hander Jared Jones to the mound Saturday, the lefty-hitting Palacios will begin the contest in the dugout. Randy Arozarena, Jose Siri and Josh Lowe will man the outfield Saturday, while Brandon Lowe serves as the designated hitter.
