Vierling (foot) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Minnesota, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.
The 27-year-old was scratched from Sunday's lineup due to left foot soreness and will sit again Tuesday following Monday's team off day. Vierling was hit by a pitch during Saturday's contest and had preliminary X-rays come back clean.
