Buxton is not in the starting lineup for the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader with Oakland.
Buxton will get a breather after he went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the team's 6-2 win in the matinee. Austin Martin will replace him in center field and bat ninth in Game 2.
