Salazar hasn't pitched in the majors since 2019, when he was limited to only four innings in Cleveland due to shoulder and groin injuries. Given the long layoff, it's unclear what Salazar may be able to contribute, though he's unlikely to crack the Yankees' rotation at any point during the campaign.
