  • Yankees' Paul Goldschmidt: Racks up three hits in victory

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI in a 10-3 win against Seattle on Tuesday.

Goldschmidt scored New York's first run of the game in the fifth inning and stroked a two-run single in the seventh. He notched his fourth multi-hit performance over his past five contests, a span during which he's batting .391 with five doubles. The hot stretch comes on the heels of a rough 1-for-23 stretch to end the month of June. On the season, Goldschmidt is slashing .290/.349/.435 with eight homers, 34 RBI, 54 runs and five stolen bases over 347 plate appearances.

  • Jake Bauers 1B | MIL

Brewers' Jake Bauers: Getting start in series finale

Bauers will start at first base and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

With Rhys Hoskins (thumb) landing on the injured list Monday and likely to remain on the shelf through at least mid-August, Bauers should have a clearer path to playing time, though he won't necessarily rank as the Brewers' preferred option at first base. Andrew Vaughn was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Monday and started over Bauers in both of the Brewers' first two games of the series with the Dodgers, going 2-for-5 with a home run, two walks, four RBI and two runs. Though Vaughn will get a breather Wednesday, he could be prioritized ahead of Bauers, who has produced a .212/.329/.381 slash line through 140 plate appearances on the season.

  • Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL

Brewers' Andrew Vaughn: Taking seat Wednesday

Vaughn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.

After getting called up from Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Vaughn started at first base in both of the first two contests of the series with the Dodgers, going 2-for-5 with a home run, two walks, four RBI and two runs. Jake Bauers will get the nod at first base Wednesday, but Vaughn could end up seeing the bulk of the starts at the position while Rhys Hoskins (thumb) is on the shelf until around mid-to-late August.

  • Tim Elko 1B | CHW

White Sox's Tim Elko: Back in big leagues

The White Sox recalled Elko from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday. He'll start at first base and bat seventh in the White Sox's series finale versus the Blue Jays.

Elko has struggled during his big-league chances thus far, putting up a .601 OPS and 38.1 percent strikeout rate over 63 plate appearances. The right-handed-hitting Elko could be a regular part of the White Sox lineup against left-handed pitching, but his opportunities to start versus righties could be more limited.

  • Rays' Jonathan Aranda: Belts 11th homer

Aranda went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Tigers.

The 27-year-old took Jack Flaherty deep in the first inning, giving Aranda his 11th homer on the season. He's showing no signs of slowing down in a breakout campaign with the All-Star break approaching, slashing .333/.370/.506 over his last 22 games with six doubles, three home runs, 12 runs and 12 RBI.

  • Romy Gonzalez 1B | BOS

Red Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Extends hit streak

Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over Colorado.

Gonzalez continued a roll that's seen him hit safely in eight straight starts, including five with multiple knocks. He's gone 16-for-34 (.471) with five doubles, two triples, two home runs and 10 RBI during the streak. Gonzalez mashes lefties, against whom he's posted a .412/.461/,750 slash line across 76 plate appearances this season. His multi-position eligibility makes him an attractive asset for fantasy team benches.

  • Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Goes deep again in win

Torkelson went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rays.

Torkelson mashed his 21st home run of the season in the fourth inning to help the Tigers increase their league-leading win total to 59. The slugger has now gone deep four times over his last eight games, and his career high of 31 long balls, which he recorded back in 2023, is within reach if Torkelson can stay healthy. To date, he's played in 87 of Detroit's 93 contests and is second on the team in homers and RBI, trailing All-Star starter Riley Greene in both categories.

  • Justin Turner 1B | CHC

Cubs' Justin Turner: Provides offense Tuesday

Turner blasted a pinch-hit solo home run in Tuesday's 8-1 loss to the Twins.

Turner pinch hit in the ninth inning with the Cubs down 8-0, so his second home run of the season didn't make much of an impact on the outcome. The veteran has been relegated to a reserve role in Chicago and has struggled, recording a .215/.296/.299 slash line through 107 at-bats. His .595 OPS is down significantly from the .737 mark he posted last year split between Seattle and Toronto, and Turner's lack of regular playing time and subpar production diminish his fantasy appeal.

  • Nick Kurtz 1B | ATH

Athletics' Nick Kurtz: Slugs grand slam Tuesday

Kurtz went 2-for-3 with a grand slam, a double, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-1 win over Atlanta.

Kurtz turned this game into a romp with the second-inning grand slam to stretch the Athletics' lead to 9-0. He's up to 14 homers on the year, nine of which he's hit over his last 21 games. In that span, he's batting .286 (22-for-77) with 23 RBI and an 11:28 BB:K. Kurtz has a .250/.324/.527 slash line with 39 RBI and 27 runs scored over 53 contests this season. There's still a bit too much swing-and-miss in his profile, but he's made excellent contact when he connects -- he's in the 94th percentile for barrel rate (16.1 percent) and his 91.8 mph average exit velocity is in the 84th percentile, per Statcast.

  • Jake Burger 1B | TEX

Rangers' Jake Burger: Homers, drives in season-high four

Burger went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 13-1 victory over the Angels.

Burger amassed a season-high four RBI, recording at least three hits for the fifth time this season as well. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been quite a big disappointment overall -- his .673 OPS in 2025 would be a career low if it sticks -- but he's at least fared a bit better at the plate after heading to the minor leagues earlier this year for a brief time. Across his last 41 contests, Burger is batting .258 (41-for-159) with eight homers, eight doubles, 21 RBI and 17 runs scored.
