Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Starting against Portland

Tate will start Saturday's game against Portland, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Rockets originally planned to start Jeff Green in Amen Thompson's (calf) place, but coach Ime Udoka pivoted once Deandre Ayton (back) was ruled out. Tate has played a minimal role all season and will be making his first start of the campaign.
