Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Plays despite finger surgery

Gobert didn't check in until 7:30 left in the second quarter and played only three minutes. Gobert's removal from the starting lineup and lack of playing time sparked speculation. However, he announced after the game that he injured his left ring finger in practice, underwent surgery Monday and was thankful to play at all Tuesday, per Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today. Gobert's status for Thursday's semifinal matchup versus Germany remains unclear.
