Beekman (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Knicks, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports. Beekman popped up on Saturday's injury report due to right calf soreness, and the injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined for Sunday's regular-season finale. With Beekman and D'Angelo Russell (ankle) both sidelined, Tyson Etienne could be in line to make his first career NBA start. Over his last five outings (four starts), Beekman averaged 5.4 points, 4.8 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 steals over 26.0 minutes per contest.... See More ... See Less

Nets' Reece Beekman: Working through calf soreness
Beekman is listed as questionable for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Knicks due to right calf soreness, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Beekman has started in the Nets' last four games, but he could miss Sunday's contest while working through a right calf issue. With D'Angelo Russell (ankle) already ruled out, Beekman's absence would open the door for Tyson Etienne to see more playing time, potentially in a starting role.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Reece Beekman: Makes defensive impact again
Beekman racked up 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and three steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 117-91 loss to the Timberwolves. Making his fourth straight start for the Nets, the undrafted rookie once again made his presence felt at the defensive end of the court. Beekman has recorded three steals in four of the last five games, and during his run in the starting five he's averaging 6.3 points, 5.5 assists, 2.8 boards and 2.5 steals in 28.0 minutes.... Nets' Reece Beekman: Game-high 10 dimes in win
Beekman ended with zero points (0-3 FG), four rebounds, 10 assists and three steals over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 119-114 win over the Pelicans. Although Beekman was held scoreless Tuesday, he was able to dish out a game-high 10 assists while playing a passive role on offense. With the Nets missing several key contributors, it wouldn't be surprising to see Beekman remain in the starting lineup during the final week of the season. Beekman has registered at least five assists, four rebounds and three steals in both of his starting appearances thus far.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Reece Beekman: Logs career-high 27 minutes
Beekman registered three points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and three steals in 27 minutes during Saturday's 115-94 loss to the Pistons. Beekman played a career-high 27 minutes, although his numbers tell a different story. Despite the increased playing time, Beekman had no real impact, a worrying trend given he has failed to score double-digits all season. He does provide the Nets with a defensive presence, something that could at least keep him on the floor down the stretch of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Reece Beekman: Logs 22 minutes Tuesday
Beekman amassed two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and two steals over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 99-97 win over the Rockets. Beekman played at least 20 minutes for the second time in his past four games. However, he has also been a DNP-CD in two of the past five games, as the Nets continue to shuffle their rotation on a nightly basis. While he could step into a consistent role at some point, Beekman is likely to remain on the fringe of the rotation, at least for the foreseeable future.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Reece Beekman: Back in rotation Monday
Beekman finished Monday's 110-96 loss to the Kings with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and two assists across 12 minutes. Beekman was back in the rotation, continuing a recent pattern not dissimilar to his teammates. The Nets are chopping and changing their rotation on a nightly basis, making it hard to know who will be playing and how much they will be playing. Unless we see a change in their mentality, Beekman is likely to remain on the fringes of the rotation until further notice.... See More ... See Less -
Warriors' Reece Beekman: Headed to Golden State
The Warriors signed Beekman to a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. As a two-way player, Beekman will split time between the Warriors and their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. As a senior for Virginia in 2023-24, Beekman averaged 14.3 points, 6.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 32.8 minutes across 34 games.... See More ... See Less

NetsDaily@NetsDaily18H agoHere’s one way NBA teams over one apron or can get relief this summer: they can dump salary on the Nets in return for draft assets, among other things.

NetsDaily@NetsDaily1D agoJonathan Givony, ESPN’s veteran draft guru, keeps saying this is deepest draft in 20 years. Focusing on lottery position is fine but 5 picks in first 36 shouldn’t be discounted. Picks will also have high value if Nets decide to trade one (or two) of them to add to 2026 stash.

NetsDaily@NetsDaily1D agoKevin Durant put up 26.6 ppg this season on 53/43/84 shooting splits but missed 20 games (after missing only 7 year before.) Teams will have to decide whether he’ll match LeBron’s production at ages 37 thru 40 in a new deal. That’s not a big risk. Highly doubt Nets are interested
