Herbert isn't expected to be available for Thursday's game against the Raiders while he recovers from a right index finger fracture, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Herbert suffered the injury to his throwing hand during Sunday's 24-7 loss to the Broncos. Though the Chargers plan to send the quarterback in for multiple medical opinions before determining exactly how much time he'll miss, Herbert doesn't look like he'll be a realistic option to play while Los Angeles faces a quick turnaround for the Week 15 game. Herbert's upcoming tests also should help determine whether he'll require surgery on the fractured finger. Easton Stick came on in relief of Herbert on Sunday and looks poised to make his first NFL start Thursday.
