Victor Hedman D | TB
Lightning's Victor Hedman: Goal, assist in Sunday's win
Hedman scored a goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and blocked six shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canadiens.
Hedman tallied midway through the first period and assisted on Brayden Point's tally in the second. The goal was Hedman's first since Jan. 14, and he was limited to eight assists over the 12 contests in between tallies. The 34-year-old has gotten on the scoresheet in just two of his last eight outings, but both instances were multi-point performances. Hedman is still having an excellent season overall with eight goals, 36 helpers, 125 shots on net, 92 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 53 appearances.

John Carlson D | WAS
Capitals' John Carlson: Extends assist streak
Carlson logged an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to Utah.
Carlson picked up an assist for the sixth straight game when he helped out on Tom Wilson's game-tying tally late in the third period. The 35-year-old Carlson is up to 35 points over 55 outings, putting him right in line to match his 52-point output from the 2023-24 regular season. He's added 117 shots on net, 93 blocked shots and a plus-20 rating in 2024-25. Carlson wasn't selected to Team USA for the 4 Nations Face-Off, so he'll get some valuable rest over the next two weeks to refresh himself for the stretch run.

Nick DeSimone D | UTA
Hockey Club's Nick DeSimone: Earns helper Sunday
DeSimone notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.
DeSimone ended an eight-game point drought with the helper. The 30-year-old blueliner is up to four assists, 16 shots on net, 10 hits, nine blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 14 appearances since Utah claimed him off waivers from the Devils. DeSimone has less competition for playing time now that Utah lost Vladislav Kolyachonok on waivers to the Penguins, leaving the Hockey Club with just three healthy right-shot blueliners. Olli Maatta could shift over to his off side if head coach Andre Tourigny wants to get Juuso Valimaki a look, but DeSimone should continue to play regularly until Robert Bortuzzo (lower body) or Sean Durzi (shoulder) can suit up.

Michael Kesselring D | UTA
Hockey Club's Michael Kesselring: Produces assist Sunday
Kesselring notched an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.
Kesselring has three points over his last five contests. His ice time is starting to drop a bit -- he's been under the 18-minute mark in four of five games in February, in part due to Utah having both Mikhail Sergachev and John Marino healthy. Kesselring is up to a career-high 22 points with 105 shots on net, 64 hits, 49 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 56 appearances. Even in a bottom-four role, he can be moderately productive in non-scoring areas, making him an option for fantasy managers in need of a little grit in deep formats.

Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Hockey Club's Mikhail Sergachev: Collects power-play helper
Sergachev notched a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.
Sergachev has power-play helpers in each of the last two games and six points, including three with the man advantage, across seven outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. The defenseman is up to 36 points (15 on the power play), 88 shots on net, 95 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 51 appearances. He plays a massive role for Utah and should be a multi-category performer as a No. 1 fantasy defenseman.

Logan Mailloux D | MON
Canadiens' Logan Mailloux: Loaned to AHL affiliate
Mailloux was reassigned to AHL Laval on Sunday.
Mailloux was a healthy scratch in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Lightning. He has two goals, two assists, 10 shots on net, eight blocked shots and nine hits in seven NHL outings this season. He might return after the 4 Nations Face-Off break to be a depth option for the Canadiens.

Matt Grzelcyk D | PIT
Penguins' Matt Grzelcyk: Adds assist Saturday
Grzelcyk notched an assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Flyers.
Grzelcyk has six assists over his last 11 outings. The 31-year-old blueliner continues to enjoy a career year, racking up 28 points, 69 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 57 appearances. He should maintain a top-four role the rest of the way, though he's on a one-year contract and could end up with a smaller role if he's dealt to a contender.
-
Cam York D | PHI
Flyers' Cam York: Posts helper Saturday
York notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
York snapped a five-game point drought with the helper. The 24-year-old defenseman is up to 13 points, 53 shots on net, 84 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 44 appearances this season. He continues to see top-four minutes, but his offense is well short of the 30-point pace he set in 2023-24, so his fantasy utility is low.
-
Adam Wilsby D | NSH
Predators' Adam Wilsby: Inks two-year extension
Wilsby (upper body) signed a two-year, $1.55 million contract with Nashville on Sunday.
Wilsby's new deal is a two-way agreement in 2025-26 before becoming a one-way pact in 2026-27. He has produced one goal, four assists, 33 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and 18 hits in 23 NHL appearances this season. Wilsby has missed the last two games because of an upper-body injury.

Erik Karlsson D | PIT
Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Collects goal Saturday
Karlsson tallied a goal, took four shots on net and blocked three shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Philadelphia.
Karlsson netted Pittsburgh's second goal just over four minutes into the second period. The 34-year-old blueliner has six goals, 40 points, 143 shots on target and 73 blocks in 57 appearances this season. While his goal total is slowly rising toward his total of 11 from a year ago, Karlsson ranks 11th among defenders with 32 assists. He is set to play for Team Sweden during the 4 Nations Face-Off.
