During Monday night's Rangers-Padres game, Texas play-by-play man Dave Barnett suffered a brief but alarming episode while on the air in which he claimed the go-ahead run was at "fifth" base. He then said something about reliever Mike Adam, "botched robbery" and some "henchmen" (please ignore the callous YouTube headline) ...

When something like this happens, you immediately fear a stroke, but Barnett tells CBS Dallas-Ft. Worth that a migraine is to blame for the unsettling non sequitur.

The team confirms that Barnett believes a migraine is the cause and says he will miss the final two games of the series in San Diego. The Rangers also say Barnett will "undergo an evaluation over the next few days."

Here's hoping it's nothing serious, and to that end our best wishes to Barnett and the Rangers.
