Brian McTaggart@brianmctaggart4H agoAstros erupt for six runs in the seventh inning, all of which came after two outs, to rally for a 6-3 win over the Rangers. Christian Walker's three-run homer was the big blow. Astros improve to 23-21.

Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome4H agoThe Astros won 6-3. They are 23-21. Lance McCullers Jr. took a step in the right direction. The bullpen threw five innings of one-run ball in relief of him. The rare chance to see a left-handed reliever catalyzed a six-run seventh inning.

Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome5H agoRyan Gusto and Bryan Abreu are warming in the Astros bullpen. Gusto would presumably pitch if this becomes anything bigger than a four-run game. Gusto's turn in the rotation is on Sunday — the Astros are listed as TBA —but Framber Valdez could start on four days of rest.

Chandler Rome@Chandler_Rome6H agoAs Steve Sparks just noted on the Astros' radio broadcast, the .406 OPS Nathan Eovaldi is allowing against right-handed hitters is the lowest in the sport. It's why switch-hitter Victor Caratini is hitting fifth today. Rinse, repeat - https://t.co/CuvN2MrG5x
