Brewers' Matthew Wood: Bumped to High-A
Wood was promoted from Single-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin on Monday.
A fourth-round pick in last year's draft, Wood hit .293 with a .468 OBP and three home runs in 82 at-bats before getting a quick promotion to a more age-appropriate level. The 22-year-old catcher had more walks (26) than strikeouts (15) in the Carolina League.
