Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo10H agoHayden Senger, "the Whole Foods catcher," just hit his first home run of spring -- and not a cheapie, at 106 mph off the bat. The Mets optioned Jakson Reetz today, essentially putting Senger on his first big league roster at age 27 -- barring an 11th-hour acquisition. -
Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo15H agoAssuming Tylor Megill makes the rotation, the Mets have three bullpen spots available for some combination of A.J. Minter, Dedniel Núñez, Paul Blackburn, Max Kranick and Huascar Brazobán. Obviously, much depends upon whether the Mets deem Minter and Núñez healthy enough to go.

Anthony DiComo@AnthonyDiComo16H agoNews: The Mets told Chris Devenski, José Ureña, Jakson Reetz, Génesis Cabrera and Donovan Walton they're not making the team. They're all going AAA. (Ureña will not opt out.) That doesn't *necessarily* mean Acuña and Senger have made it due to potential adds, but it looks good.
