Pirates' Abrahan Gutierrez: Reinstated from injured list
Rotowire
Gutierrez (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday, Low-A Bradenton broadcaster Spenser Smith reports.
Gutierrez spent just over two weeks on the injured list for an unspecified reason, but he'll rejoin the minor-league club for the final few games of the year. The 21-year-old appeared in 18 games with Bradenton after he was traded from the Phillies to the Pirates at the end of July, and he hit .296 with seven extra-base hits, 15 runs and four RBI.

Pirates' Abrahan Gutierrez: Shipped to Pittsburgh
Rotowire
Gutierrez was acquired by the Pirates from the Phillies on Friday in exchange for left-hander Braeden Ogle, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
The 21-year-old was nearly sent to the Pirates earlier in the week as part of a trade package for Tyler Anderson, though that deal fell through and Anderson was later traded to the Mariners. Apparently Pittsburgh was keen on acquiring Gutierrez and opted to swing another deal to acquire him. The young catcher has played at the Low-A level this season and is hitting .287/.415/.431 with five homers, 10 doubles, 32 RBI, 29 runs and a 35:31 BB:K in 214 plate appearances.
