Knicks' Jordan Clarkson: Intends to sign with New York
Clarkson (foot) intends to sign with the Knicks once he clears waivers, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
The Jazz decided to waive Clarkson, but the veteran guard didn't have problems finding a new home for the 2025-26 season. He should add some much-needed depth in the backcourt for the Knicks, and Clarkson should see consistent minutes off the bench, either as a point guard or as a shooting guard. Clarkson, who averaged 16.2 points, 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 26.0 minutes per contest in 37 regular-season games in 2024-25, is also dealing with a foot injury but is expected to be healthy come training camp in the fall.

Jordan Clarkson: Contract buyout finalized
The Jazz and Clarkson (foot) agreed to finalize a contract buyout Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
With Collin Sexton also on his way out of Utah, the Jazz continue to pave the way in their backcourt for Keyonte George, Isaiah Collier and Walter Clayton. Clarkson proved to be a serviceable source of offense off the bench when healthy in 2024-25, and his services are likely to be eyed by contending clubs this offseason. Across 37 games last season, the veteran combo guard averaged 16.2 points, 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 26.0 minutes per contest.

Clarkson will miss the rest of the season for the Jazz after having a procedure to address the plantar fasciitis in his left foot, Mark Medina of TheSportingTribune.com reports.
Clarkson has been in and out of Utah's lineup over the last two months, which led to the team shutting him down for the rest of the 2024-25 season following a procedure on his injured foot. In 37 games played, the veteran guard averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, shooting a career-low 40.8 percent from the floor and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Getting green light Monday
Clarkson (foot/illness) is available for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Clarkson will return to the court following a one-game absence due to planter fasciitis in his left foot and an illness. He's appeared in only two games since Feb. 26, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him held to around the 20-to-25 minute range, especially considering he logged 24 minutes Wednesday and 23 minutes Friday.
