  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Scores 20 points in loss

Beasley contributed 20 points (6-13 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 24 minutes during Thursday's 116-113 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Beasley finished as the Pistons' third-leading scorer in Thursday's loss, recording 20 points for the second time during the first round. The sharpshooter was efficient from beyond the arc, bouncing back after a four-game stretch in which he shot just 23.5 percent from three-point range. The 28-year-old guard averaged 14.0 points, 3.3 three-pointers, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 27.2 minutes per game during the club's first-round series loss to the Knicks. Beasley is slated to become an unrestricted free agent after setting the Pistons' single-season record for three-pointers made (319). He also shot a career-high 41.6 percent from downtown. Beasley played in all 82 regular-season games (18 starts), finishing with averages of 16.3 points, 3.9 three-pointers, 2.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals across 27.8 minutes per contest.

Beasley closed Sunday's 94-93 loss to the Knicks in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 26 minutes. Beasley came alive in the second half, scoring 11 of his 13 points over the final two quarters while connecting on three triples. He's scored in double digits in three of the four games this series, averaging 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 28.3 minutes per game, though he's shooting 35.3 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from three-point range over that span.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Shooting woes continue in loss

Beasley supplied 12 points (4-14 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes during Thursday's 118-116 loss to New York in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Beasley struggled from the field and saw a significant dip in playing time during Game 3. The sharpshooter has totaled 21 points while shooting 26.1 percent from the field over his last two games, though he did post 20 points across 35 minutes during Game 1 of the series. He's averaging 13.7 points, 3.0 three-pointers, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 29.3 minutes per game during the first round.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Sparks bench with six triples

Beasley finished with 20 points (7-16 FG, 6-12 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 35 minutes during Saturday's 123-112 loss to New York in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Beasley came out firing with 12 points in the first half, all of which came on three-pointers, and he finished as the Pistons third-leading scorer behind Tobias Harris (25) and Cade Cunningham (21). Beasley connected on a career-high 41.6 percent of his three-point attempts during the regular season and played a key role in the Pistons' return to the playoffs. He'll look to continue his momentum into Game 2 against the Knicks on Monday.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Delivers team-high 23 in OT loss

Beasley provided 23 points (8-14 FG, 7-11 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 19 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 140-133 overtime loss to the Bucks. There was nothing on the line for either team in the regular-season finale, so the Pistons gave their second unit plenty of run. Beasley took the biggest advantage, leading the team in scoring in an efficient performance. The 28-year-old guard heads into the playoffs with some momentum, having scored in double digits in 15 straight games (four starts) while averaging 16.1 points, 3.9 threes, 2.0 boards and 1.8 assists in 29.7 minutes a contest.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Questionable to play Friday

Beasley is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks due to an illness. Beasley is a late addition to the injury report, and it remains to be seen if he can play against Milwaukee. His status will be decided closer to the 7 p.m. ET tipoff. Due to injuries to Tobias Harris and Cade Cunningham, Beasley has been in and out of the starting lineup of late, but with both starters back in action, Beasley will operate off the bench Friday if cleared to suit up. He's averaging 15.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 3.5 three-pointers made over his last 11 games (four starts).

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Notches 10 points

Beasley had 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound and two assists over 27 minutes during Thursday's 115-106 win over New York. With the return of Tobias Harris (heel), Beasley saw his workload dip Thursday. Beasley has also been trending in the wrong direction, hitting 32.4 percent of his shots over his last five games with averages of 13.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.6 three-pointers in 30.7 minutes.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Modest performance again

Beasley finished Monday's 127-117 loss to Sacramento with 14 points (5-15 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and two assists across 30 minutes. Beasley continues to serve up modest production, having scored fewer than 15 points in three of the past four games. While his three-point production has remained relatively consistent, a lack of supporting numbers continues to be an issue. Over his past 16 games, Beasley is averaging 14.8 points and 3.4 three-pointers, adding just 2.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals in 28.4 minutes per game.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Returns to bench Saturday

Beasley will come off the bench during Saturday's game against the Grizzlies. Beasley has started four of the Pistons' last six games, but with Cade Cunningham returning from a calf injury, the veteran shooter will be in the second unit for Saturday's game against Memphis. In 59 games in a bench role this season, Beasley has averaged 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 42.4 percent from the floor and 42.2 percent from deep.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Another 20-point performance

Beasley ended Friday's 117-105 victory over the Raptors with 21 points (7-20 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 31 minutes. Beasley didn't have his best shooting performance from an efficiency perspective, making just 35 percent of his shots and 27 percent of his threes, but the high volume still allowed him to reach the 20-point mark. However, one subpar showing won't erase how good Beasley has been in recent weeks. He's averaging 16.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 3.7 three-pointers made across his last 10 appearances while alternating between the starting lineup (four starts) and the bench. He's also making 40.2 percent of his threes during that stretch.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Back in starting role

Beasley is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Raptors. The Pistons won't have Tobias Harris (Achilles) for this game, so Beasley has moved into the starting lineup once again. The veteran sharpshooter has been extremely productive in a starting role this season for the Pistons, averaging 19.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 4.5 three-pointers made per game in 17 starts.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Back to bench Wednesday

Beasley will come off the bench during Wednesday's game against the Thunder. After starting three of the last four games for the Pistons, Beasley will return to a bench role Wednesday in Oklahoma City. In 58 games in a reserve role for Detroit, the sharpshooter has averaged 15.4 points. 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game, shooting 42.7 percent from the floor and 42.4 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Explodes for 27 points

Beasley racked up 27 points (8-18 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and two rebounds over 38 minutes during Sunday's 123-104 loss to Minnesota. Beasley moved to the starting lineup after Tobias Harris (Achilles) was a late scratch, and the former ended up leading the Pistons in scoring since they were also without Cade Cunningham (calf). Beasley has been outstanding for the Pistons of late, averaging 15.1 points while shooting 41.7 percent from three-point range since the beginning of March.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Starting sans Harris

Beasley will start in Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports. With Tobias Harris (Achilles) a late scratch for Sunday, Beasley will rejoin the starting five. The sharpshooter has started in four games this month, averaging 15.3 points, 3.5 three-pointers, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 32.8 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Late addition to lineup

Beasley has been added to the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Cavaliers due to the late scratch of Tobias Harris (calf), Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Harris will miss Friday's game due to a left calf contusion, so Beasley will jump into the starting lineup, and he should handle a more prominent role on offense. The veteran sharpshooter averages 19.2 points per game while shooting 40.9 percent from three-point range when deployed in a starting role.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Retreating to bench Tuesday

Beasley won't start in Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. The sharpshooter will slide to the bench due to Tim Hardaway (ankle) returning to game action. Beasley has appeared in 12 outings (three starts) this month, averaging 13.9 points, 3.5 three-pointers, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 28.4 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Starting sans Hardaway

Beasley will start in Sunday's game against New Orleans. The sharpshooter will return to the starting five due to Tim Hardaway (ankle) being sidelined. Beasley has made two starts in March, accumulating 29 points (11-29 FG, 7-24 3Pt), one assist and one rebound across 66 total minutes.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Drains five threes Friday

Beasley racked up 16 points (5-15 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, two assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 123-117 loss to Dallas. Beasley logged 36 minutes due to the absence of Tim Hardaway (ankle), who departed the game in the second quarter and didn't return, and he made the most of the opportunity. The veteran sharpshooter has been playing well this season and has been a consistent scoring weapon for the Pistons, mainly due to his three-point shooting ability. He's on an outstanding run of 20 straight games hitting two or more threes, a span in which he's averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 44.8 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Pistons' Malik Beasley: Scores 15 points Saturday

Beasley finished with 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), two assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Saturday's 113-107 loss to the Thunder. Beasley was coming off an eight-point performance in the loss to the Wizards on Thursday, but it's much more common to see him scoring in double digits off the bench as he did Saturday. The veteran sharpshooter has scored in double digits while draining at least two threes in all but one of his last 10 appearances (two starts), averaging 15.3 points and shooting 41.2 percent from beyond the arc over that stretch.
