Jeffries was recently acquired from New York and was already facing an uphill battle for rotation minutes in Charlotte. A timetable hasn't been announced yet, but Jeffries' preseason is surely over.

Hornets' DaQuan Jeffries: Shipped to Charlotte
The Knicks have traded Jeffries and draft compensation to the Hornets as part of a three-team deal that will send Karl-Anthony Towns to New York and Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to Minnesota, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Jeffries is likely being included in this deal mostly as a salary filler. In 2023-24, the 27-year-old forward averaged 2.7 minutes across 17 regular-season appearances. Jeffries is not expected to be heavily featured in Charlotte's rotation.

Jeffries made a rare appearance Sunday as the Knicks went deep into their rotation. The Pacers dominated from start to finish, meaning even Tom Thibodeau couldn't justify playing his starters big minutes. Obviously, this is not something fans should expect to see very often during the postseason.

He'll begin his second stint of the season with the Knicks, as Jeffries had been a member of the 15-man roster coming out of the preseason before being cut in December.
