  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Shines in win Thursday

Jones racked up 23 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks across 35 minutes in Thursday's 117-89 preseason win over the New Zealand Breakers. Several young players got the chance to play extended minutes during the exhibition. However, it'd be hard to find anyone who took more advantage of the opportunity than Jones, who filled the stat sheet admirably and made his presence felt on both ends of the court with a strong double-double. Jones, the 26th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, isn't expected to play a big role for the Thunder as a rookie, but this game certainly gives a glimpse of his potential as a two-way threat in The Association.

  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Solid all-around outing Monday

Jones logged 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes during Monday's 112-107 preseason win over the Spurs. Jones recorded the third-highest scoring mark on the Thunder behind Ajay Mitchell (19) and Jalen Williams (18). In his final collegiate season, the No. 26 pick of the 2024 Draft out of Weber State averaged 20.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.0 steals across 37.0 minutes per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the floor. While the Thunder's roster is stacked, Jones could carve out a role in the rotation if Kenrich Williams (knee) misses time.
