  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Leads Pistons in preseason win

Ivey notched 22 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 7-9 FT), two rebounds, an assist and a block across 23 minutes in Sunday's 120-87 preseason win over the Bucks. Ivey is competing for a starting role in the backcourt alongside Cade Cunningham, and there's no question he made a strong case for himself with a solid showing Sunday, leading the team in scoring and looking extremely efficient with his shot, particularly from three-point range. Ivey is competing with Malik Beasley and Tim Hardaway for that starting gig, and he outplayed both of them, so things might be trending in the right direction for him with the regular season approaching quickly.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Struggles in win

Ivey accumulated seven points (3-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 107-89 victory over the Mavericks. Ivey's single-digit point total was just his third such performance since Feb. 26. The second-year guard has averaged 16.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.5 triples across 30.5 minutes in his previous 10 games. He will look to end the season strongly when Detroit travels to San Antonio on Sunday.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Finishes as leading scorer Tuesday

Ivey contributed 25 points (8-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 120-102 loss to Philadelphia. With Cade Cunningham missing his fourth straight game due to left knee injury management, Ivey continues to see an uptick in shot attempts. Ivey is averaging 12.7 shot attempts per game this season, but he has attempted 15-plus shots in each of his last six games. With the regular season winding down, the Pistons could opt to sit Cunningham down the stretch, which would mean more opportunities for Ivey. Ivey has averaged 20.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists over 30.4 minutes per game over the last four contests while shooting 55.6 percent from three on 6.8 attempts.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Records double-double

Ivey registered 16 points (7-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 loss to the Nets. Ivey didn't have his best shooting performance and ended up needing 21 shots to score 16 points, but he salvaged his fantasy stat line with his contributions in other categories -- mainly as a passer with a season-high 10 assists. Ivey should experience an uptick in his usage rate as long as Cade Cunningham (knee) remains sidelined.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Scores 31 points against Memphis

Ivey logged 31 points (10-15 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 108-90 loss to Memphis. Ivey delivered one of his best scoring performances of the season Friday, and even though he reached the 30-point mark just for the fourth time in the current campaign, his efforts were not enough to lift the Pistons to victory. Ivey has scored 15 or more points in six of his last nine outings, and he could be in line to handle a bigger role on offense in the final week of the regular season if Cade Cunningham (knee) doesn't return for the final games on the schedule.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Struggles in return

Ivey ended with 13 points (5-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one block over 37 minutes during Friday's 96-87 victory over Washington. Ivey missed the Pistons' loss to the Timberwolves on Wednesday due to left knee soreness, but he was able to suit up Friday to help the Pistons capture their 13th win of the season. Ivey shot 29.4 percent from the field Friday and struggled from beyond the arc, but he managed to contribute in other ways. He's averaging 15.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 31.2 minutes per game in March.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Present at shootaround

Ivey (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards but was present during the Pistons' morning shootaround, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Ivey and Cade Cunningham (knee) are in the same boat and will likely be game-time decisions ahead of the 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff. Before Ivey's absence Wednesday, he appeared in 16 straight games and averaged 15.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 30.6 minutes during that stretch.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Out Wednesday

Ivey (knee) will not play in Wednesday's matchup with the Timberwolves. Ivey was a late addition to the Pistons' injury report, and they will ultimately err on the side of caution. In his absence, Marcus Sasser will enter the starting lineup at shooting guard. Ivey's next chance to suit up will come Friday versus the Wizards.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Displays two-way play in defeat

Ivey finished with 15 points (6-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three assists, two rebounds and two steals over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 122-103 loss to Indiana. Ivey made an impact on both ends of the court in Wednesday's contest, ending as one of two Pistons with 15 or more points while swiping a team-high-tying pair of steals and handing out a trio of assists. Ivey has surpassed the 15-point mark in two straight outings, and he posted his 11th game of the year with two or more steals.

Ivey ended with 21 points (10-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and one block across 29 minutes during Monday's 119-94 loss to Boston. Ivey was the only Piston to exceed 12 points Monday, and he did so effectively despite continuing to struggle from beyond the arc. Overall, Ivey's dribble jumper has been a respectable component of his offense this season, yielding a 35.9 percent clip that ranks in the 48th percentile among all players.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Dishes seven dimes vs. Raptors

Ivey amassed 14 points (5-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 113-104 win over the Raptors. Ivey was the lead facilitator for the Pistons on Wednesday, a role usually filled by Cade Cunningham. Ivey is shooting 34.0 percent from the field and 2-for-17 from three over his last three games and has cooled off from his 34-point performance against the Nets on March 7. He has managed to contribute in other ways, including by collecting two steals in three of his last four games.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Subpar in loss

Ivey provided 14 points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 24 minutes during Monday's 113-111 loss to the Knicks. Ivey did the majority of his damage at the free-throw line but failed to step up as New York diverted defensive attention to Cade Cunningham down the stretch -- holding Detroit's alpha scoreless in the fourth quarter. Ivey is averaging 12.0 points and 4.3 assists on a lowly 31.4 percent shooting in three games since the All-Star break.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Scores 23 points Saturday

Ivey closed Saturday's 112-106 loss to the Clippers with 23 points (10-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes. Ivey might have needed 21 shots to score 23 points, but his stat line was decent, as he took on a scoring role alongside Cade Cunningham in the backcourt. Ivey has been on a tear of late and is going through the most productive stretch of his career, as he's averaging 26.4 points per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the field over his last five outings.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Career-high seven threes in OT win

Ivey registered 26 points (8-21 FG, 7-7 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 48 minutes during Thursday's 128-122 overtime win over the Trail Blazers. The second-year guard is enjoying his west coast trip after dropping a career-high 37 points on the Kings just one night earlier, as Thursday's seven made three-pointers were also a career best. Ivey could see his usage increase coming out of the trade deadline after Detroit shook up its backcourt, as Cade Cunningham and Quentin Grimes would seem to be his main competition for the ball for the rest of the season. Ivey's scored in double digits in seven straight games, averaging 21.7 points, 4.6 boards, 4.0 assists and 3.4 threes over that stretch while shooting 50.5 percent from the floor and a stunning 61.5 percent (24-for-39) from beyond the arc.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Hits career high in win

Ivey logged 37 points (13-23 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 133-120 victory over the Kings. The outlook was bleak for the Pistons with Cade Cunningham (knee) and Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) sidelined, but Ivey stepped in and spearheaded a brilliant fourth quarter, scoring 19 of his 37 points in the final stanza. The 2022 first-round pick has started only 30 of 46 games this year after starting nearly every game for the Pistons during his rookie season, but the 21-year-old has been a fixture in the starting lineup over the past two months and deserves nightly consideration, as his role will still be relevant when Detroit's top scorers return.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Nears 20 points to spark offense

Ivey chipped in 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Sunday's 111-99 loss to the Magic. Ivey connected on a pair of threes while adding a trio of rebounds and assists, ending with a team-high-tying scoring mark and two points shy of the 20-point mark. Ivey has finished with 18 or more points in 17 games this season, including in three of his last four outings.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Leading scorer for Detroit in loss

Ivey registered 28 points (11-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes during Friday's 136-125 loss to the Clippers. The 28 points led the Pistons, snapping a streak of six games in which Ivey failed to reach 20 points. The second-year guard has taken his production up a notch since the calendar flipped to 2024 -- over 16 contests since the beginning of January, he's averaging 17.8 points, 4.6 assists, 4.4 boards and 2.0 threes.

  • Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Pops for 24 against Wizards

Ivey supplied 24 points (9-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and three blocks across 32 minutes during Monday's 129-117 victory over the Wizards. The second-year guard is settling into a bigger role in the Pistons' offense. Ivey has scored in double digits in 10 straight games, averaging 17.2 points, 5.2 boards, 4.7 assists and 1.8 threes thanks more to increased usage than better efficiency -- he's attempted at least 17 shots in all four games Cade Cunningham (knee) has missed so far. Once Cunningham returns, Ivey could be hard-pressed to keep up that scoring pace.
