WR Pierre Garcon remains questionable against the Vikings. (US Presswire)

Keep an eye on these three Redskins players Sunday who could have big games against the Vikings:

1. WR Leonard Hankerson: With starting X receiver Pierre Garcon questionable with his bruised foot – and not as effective when on the field -- Hankerson’s role will continue to be significant. Hankerson is coming off a subpar game with one catch for three yards and some missed blocks (an area where he had done well).

2. RB Alfred Morris: The Redskins need to run the ball consistently, but the Vikings have been one of the toughest teams to run against, allowing just 3.2 yards per carry. They haven’t allowed a run longer than 15 yards this season. Morris’ runs often have been feast or famine. Against Atlanta, for example, he had five runs that gained 83 yards and another 13 that gained 32. To avoid third and longs, they’ll need more consistency.

3. RT Tyler Polumbus: We already mentioned the tough matchups others on the line have in the preview – RG Chris Chester vs. DT Kevin Williams; LT Trent Williams vs. DE Jared Allen – but Polumbus has been the most inconsistent lineman by far. He’ll face Brian Robison and, in rush situations, Everson Griffen (tied with Allen for a team-best three sacks). The Vikings like to use a lot of misdirection on defense so Polumbus’ quickness, which isn’t terrific, will be tested.
