Eagles kicker Alex Henery, coming off his worst season, faces competition from undrafted signee Carey Spear, reports The News Journal. Spear made 35 of 43 field goals at Vanderbilt the past two seasons.
Henery made a career-low 82.1 percent of his field goals last season (23 of 28) and struggled to boot the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs.
