Colts vs. Raiders updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Colts vs. Raiders football game
3rd Quarter Report
The Colts fell flat on their face against the Falcons last Sunday, but memory of that harsh loss doesn't seem to have tripped them up today. Sitting on a score of 17-10, the Colts have looked like the better team, but there's still one more quarter to play. Their offense has been firing on all cylinders thus far, outscoring their total from last Sunday with time still left to play.
If the Colts keep playing like this, they'll bump their record up to 9-7 in no time. On the other hand, the Raiders will have to make due with a 7-9 record unless they turn things around (and fast).
Preview
The Raiders and the Colts are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2016, but likely not for long. The Las Vegas Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts are favored, but seeing as the odds didn't stop the Raiders in their last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
Even though Las Vegas has not done well against Kansas City recently (they were 1-9 in their previous ten matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Raiders walked away with a 20-14 victory over the Chiefs. The win made it back-to-back wins for Las Vegas.
Zamir White was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 145 yards. Those 145 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for him. Jack Jones made the highlight reel by snagging an interception in the second quarter, and taking it all the way to the house.
The Raiders' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Malcolm Koonce was especially locked on to the Chiefs' QB and sacked him three times.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Atlanta. They were the victim of a painful 29-10 loss at the hands of the Falcons on Sunday.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, the Colts were plagued by a slow offense and finished the game with only 3.9 yards per play. They were smoked by their opponents in that department as the Falcons advanced 6.3 yards per play.
Las Vegas' victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Indianapolis, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Las Vegas came up short against Indianapolis in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 25-20. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
