Patriots defenders fill up stat sheet

Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty tied linebacker Dont'a Hightower for the team lead with nine tackles, and linebacker Jerod Mayo made eight stops in the win over Atlanta. Defensive linemen Joe Vellano and Michael Buchanan each registered a sack.

Defensive backs Steve Gregory, Alfonzo Dennard and Kyle Arrington had six tackles apiece.
