Oakland Raiders starting WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (concussion/neck) and backup TE Richard Gordon (hamstring) were ruled out for Sunday’s game at Denver, the team announced Saturday.

Heyward-Bey had been listed as doubtful, but he hasn’t practiced -- or even jogged -- since being knocked out of last week's game by a helmet-to-helmet hit by Steelers S Ryan Mundy .

Veteran Derek Hagan will likely start in Heyward-Bey’s place Sunday, especially with rookie receiver Rod Streater battling eye and neck injuries. Streater, who was poked in the eye during last week’s game and tweaked his neck Friday, is listed as questionable. Rookie WR Juron Criner, who was inactive the past two games, is expected to suit up. Criner's never caught an NFL pass.

Gordon injured his hamstring during practice Friday. He was listed as questionable before being downgraded to out on Saturday. Gordon’s absence should increase fellow backup TE David Ausberry’s workload.

Starting TE Brandon Myers (concussion) is listed as questionable but has been cleared to play.
