The Packers are reportedly releasing 35-year-old LT Chad Clifton, who failed a physical, and will save more than $5 million in salary cap space. A similar decision will have to be made on 37-year-old WR Donald Driver, who’s due $5 million in 2012. Driver has said publicly he’d be willing to take a pay cut to stay in Green Bay.
