Randell Johnson: Waived by Jets
Johnson was waived by the Jets on Friday, Brian Costello of The New York Post reports.
Signed off the Rams' practice squad last December, Johnson was likely made expendable after the Jets' trade for Demario Davis last week. His departure likely opens the door for Julian Stanford and Spencer Paysinger to see additional reps for the remainder of the offseason and potentially into training camp as well.
