Eagles' Tyler Steen: Past ankle issue
Steen (ankle) was left off the Eagles' injury report Wednesday ahead of Friday's Week 1 contest against the Packers.
Steen sustained an ankle injury during the Eagles' preseason game against the Patriots, but it now appears he's moved past the issue. Expect the 2023 third-round pick out of Alabama to serve as Philadelphia's top backup guard ahead of Friday's Week 1 affair.

Eagles' Tyler Steen: Out for game
Steen (ankle) is out for the rest of the Eagles' preseason game against the Patriots on Thursday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
The right guard was down on the field before walking off slowly, visiting the medical tent and being carted to the locker room. Steen has been dealing with the ankle issue since early in training camp. The second-year pro is competing with Mekhi Becton for the Eagles' starting right guard spot.

Eagles' Tyler Steen: Back from ankle injury
Steen (ankle) was on the field for 36 offensive snaps (43 percent) in Friday's 16-13 preseason victory over the Ravens, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Steen suffered a mild ankle injury earlier in training camp, but it appears he has put the issue behind him. When healthy, he is expected to start at right guard in the Eagles' offensive trenches this year.
