Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Assigned to Manitoba
Chibrikov was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Monday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Chibrikov made just one NHL appearance last year and scored a goal while logging 11:03 of ice time. He'll head to the minors ahead of the 2024-25 regular season and should spend most of the year in the AHL.

Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Returned to AHL
Chibrikov was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Chibrikov was recalled as the Jets decided to rest eight regulars for their season finale versus Vancouver on Thursday. Chibrikov made the most of his NHL debut, scoring the game-winner in a 4-2 win. Chibrikov had 17 goals and 46 points in 69 AHL games before his recall. Look for Chibrikov to get a good chance during training camp to make the Jets' squad in 2024-25.

Jets' Nikita Chibrikov: Scores winner in NHL debut
Chibrikov scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 4-2 victory over the Canucks.
In his first career NHL game, Chibrikov forced a turnover with an aggressive forecheck in the Vancouver zone and then finished off a give-and-go with Nino Niederreiter early in the third period. Chibrikov, a second-round pick in 2021, racked up 17 goals and 46 points in 69 games with AHL Manitoba this season, and the 21-year-old could push for a regular spot in the Jets' lineup in 2024-25.
