LaFontaine was recalled from AHL Chicago on Monday, Sara Civian of The Athletic reports.

LaFontaine made 31 saves in a 7-4 loss to New Jersey on Saturday.
It was his second NHL game, but first start. And his teammates really didn't help him out Saturday -- they went up 2-0 before being overwhelmed by the persistent Devils. LaFontaine has talent -- he won the Mike Richter Award as the top goalie in NCAA Division I hockey last season. But the jump straight from college is huge. Managers in single-year leagues can pass on him, but dynasty managers should keep an eye on him.
