Durandeau was traded to Montreal from New Jersey in a minor-league swap for Nathan Legare on Monday.

Devils' Arnaud Durandeau: Moved in minor-league trade
New Jersey acquired Durandeau from the Islanders on Sunday in exchange for Tyce Thompson.
Durandeau, who will report to AHL Utica, has notched one goal and three assists in 12 minor-league contests with Bridgeport this season. In four NHL contests with the Islanders during the 2022-23 campaign, he was credited with nine shots on goal, two blocked shots and three hits.

Islanders' Arnaud Durandeau: Lands on waivers
The Islanders waived Durandeau on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Durandeau had 24 goals and 55 points in 68 AHL outings with Bridgeport last season. He also appeared in four games with New York, recording two PIM, nine shots, three hits and two blocked shots in that span. Unless another team claims the 24-year-old off waivers, Durandeau will probably start the 2023-24 campaign with Bridgeport.

Durandeau was reassigned to AHL Bridgeport on Wednesday, per Stefen Rosner of NYI Hockey Now.
Durandeau has no points and nine shots in four games while averaging 13:00 of ice time with the Islanders this season. At the AHL level, he's contributed 13 goals and 33 points in 48 contests with Bridgeport in 2022-23.

Durandeau penned a two-year, two-way contract with the Islanders on Tuesday.
Durandeau has yet to make an NHL appearance, spending the previous three seasons playing with AHL Bridgeport. Last year, the 23-year-old winger recorded 15 goals and 22 helpers in 64 outings and could be in line to make his NHL debut if he continues to show an offensive touch. Durandeau set career highs in goals (38), assists (35) and points (73) in his final year with QMJHL Halifax this season.
