  • Golden Knights' Mikhail Vorobyov: Signing rights transferred

Vorobyov's signing rights were transferred from the Flyers to the Golden Knights Wednesday in a three-team trade that saw Noah Hanifin go to Vegas and Daniil Miromanov to Calgary, per CapFriendly.

Vorobyov, 27, has not played at the NHL level since 2019-20, but he remained on the Flyers' reserve list. He had five points in 35 contests over parts of two seasons. Given his age, it seems unlikely that he'll make an NHL comeback with an organization as full of talent as the Golden Knights.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Playing again in KHL

Vorobyov (knee) has recorded four points in seven games with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL.

Vorobyov suffered a torn ACL last year while playing with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, but he's back in action. It's unclear when or if the fourth-round pick from 2015 will make the jump to North American hockey.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Facing extended absence

Vorobyov suffered an ACL injury while playing for Ufa Salavat (KHL) and is expected to miss significant time, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Prior to getting hurt, Vorobyov garnered five goals and eight helpers in 33 KHL contests. Selected by the Flyers in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft, the Russian center opted to sign overseas this season but remains under Philadelphia's control after the club gave him a qualifying offer.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Inks KHL deal

Vorobyov has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with KHL club Salavat Yulaev Ufa, per Gorobzor.ru. According to Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the club will retain the center's rights by offering him a qualifying offer.

Vorobyev spent the bulk of the year with AHL Lehigh Valley, where he registered 12 goals and 16 helpers in 45 appearances. With the Flyers, the Russian saw action in 20 games, picking up one goal, two helpers and 15 shots while averaging 10:26 of ice time.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Returned to minor-league affiliate

Philadelphia reassigned Vorobyov to AHL Lehigh Valley on Thursday.

The Flyers recalled David Kase in a corresponding move, so Vorobyov will remain in the minors for the foreseeable future. He'll likely get another shot with the big club later this season, but he won't have any fantasy value in 2019-20.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Adds helper in loss

Vorobyev posted an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.

Vorobyev had the lone helper on Justin Braun's second-period tally. The Russian center is up to three points and 13 shots on goal in 17 contests this year. He plays on the fourth line -- fantasy owners likely won't need to dig as deep as Vorobyev to fill out their rosters.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Searching for second goal

Vorobyov has a goal on one shot with an even rating in the last three games.

The 22-year-old has played in a lot of games since being promoted back to the NHL early in December. He's matched last season's total of one goal and two points in 14 games during 2019-20. Vorobyov is mostly trending in the right direction, but he doesn't receive enough playing time or get enough shots on net to be considered even a deep fantasy league option.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Promoted to top level

The Flyers recalled Vorobyov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Michael Raffl is expected to be sidelined for four weeks with a fractured finger, so Vorobyov could be in for an extended stay with the big club. The 22-year-old has racked up five goals and 14 points in 19 games with Lehigh Valley this season.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Sent packing

The Flyers loaned Vorobyov to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.

Vorobyov only appeared in one game during his brief stay with the big club, going scoreless in 7:34 of ice time. The 22-year-old forward will log top-six minutes with Lehigh Valley.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Promoted to top level

The Flyers recalled Vorobyov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Philadelphia sent German Rubtsov to the minors in a corresponding move, so Vorobyov will round out the team's depth up front for the foreseeable future. The 22-year-old Russian has picked up four points in eight AHL appearances this season.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Dropped to AHL Lehigh Valley

Vorobyov was demoted to the minors Thursday.

Vorobyov appeared in five games after being called up Oct. 20, in which he registered one assist, four shots and one block while averaging 9:04 of ice time. With the Russian joining up with the Phantoms, the club promoted German Rubtsov and Carsen Twarynski. If any one of those two can impress, it could prevent Vorobyov from earning another look this year.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Joining big club

Vorobyov was promoted from AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

Vorobyov spent 15 games at the NHL level last season, notching a goal and two points in a small role. He was off to a decent start in the minors this season with four points in five games. The 22-year-old Russian will either be a healthy scratch or see a limited bottom-six role.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Sent to bus league

The Flyers loaned Vorobyev to AHL Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

Vorobyov has gone scoreless while averaging just 7:13 of ice time in eight appearances since being recalled by the big club on Jan. 27, so this move doesn't come as a surprise. The Russian forward will hope to find his scoring touch in the minors, where he's tallied 22 points in 32 games this campaign.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Still struggling to score

Vorobyov has no points in five NHL games since returning to the Flyers on Jan. 27.

Dating back to his previous NHL tenure, Vorobyov has no points in the last 10 games and two points (a goal and assist) in 12 contests. He's played very well in the AHL, tallying 22 points in 32 games, but it just simply hasn't translated yet for the Flyers.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Promoted to top level

Vorobyov was recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

The 22-year-old already has seven NHL games under his belt this season. In those seven appearances, Vorobyov managed a goal and an assist. Meanwhile, playing a level down, Vorobyov has been much more effective, tallying 22 points over 32 minor-league contests. He's been on fire in the minors recently, a development that likely prompted this promotion.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Drops to minors

Vorobyov was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.

Vorobyov has averaged 11:45 through his first seven NHL games and notched a goal and an assist. The rookie has logged consistent power-play minutes, but his even strength play has been a black mark, as Vorobyov posted a 38.9 Corsi For percentage thus far.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Nearly invisible in return

Vorobyov returned to the lineup Saturday against the Islanders after being a healthy scratch for four games.

It was his first game in almost two weeks, and it looked like it for the 21-year-old. He played 8:01, recording one shot and one block. That's the only shot on goal he has in the last five games. There's no guarantee Vorobyov will remain in the lineup Tuesday against the Ducks.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Sits on Thursday

Vorobyov was a healthy scratch against the Blue Jackets on Thursday night.

The 21-year-old has a goal and two points in six games, but on Tuesday against the Panthers, he only skated 8:04. In his last four games, he hasn't registered a point. Vorobyov received a lot of hype during the preseason, but apparently the honeymoon is over, as he needs to start producing in order to stay in the lineup.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Tallies first NHL goal

Vorobyov scored his first NHL goal in a 5-2 loss to the Avalanche on Saturday.

The Flyers have been very high on the 21-year-old, and fantasy owners are beginning to see why. He picked up an assist in the opener and then scored an unassisted goal Saturday. Owners should keep an eye on him in deeper leagues.

  • Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Skating on third line

Vorobyov will begin the season on the Flyers roster, and according to general manager Ron Hextall, he 'earned' his spot.

The 21-year-old will skate on the Flyers' third line next to Wayne Simmonds and probably James van Riemsdyk when the team opens the season against the Golden Knights on Thursday. Philadelphia's extremely high on Vorobyov, and if he remains on the third line all season, he has a chance to be a solid fantasy contributor in deep leagues. He scored nine goals and 29 points in 58 AHL games last season.
